Why a fish is so expensive??

Surprise, surprise! For a country that is surrounded on all sides by the sea, prices for fish make you think the place is in the middle of the Alps. You did think fish is cheap because you can buy it first hand, but instead, you have to put down money as if it was a Yeti snowman that had to make that catch. However, I like a fish as much as a vegan likes his veg.

  1. A fishmonger on the farmers market told me that Tuna is caught off the cost in Gallway, and if that happens, which is rather rare, they wouldn't eat it in Ireland but sell it to Japan for a good profit of around €13.000. Would you believe it!
